Our mission is to reduce the carbon footprint of the world’s digital infrastructure by offering highly efficient and sustainable cooling solutions, inspired by nuclear power plant cooling.
Co-founders Dr. Reza Azizian and Dr. Matteo Bucci first met at MIT, collaborating closely as lab mates. Matteo's path in academia and Reza’s shift into the tech industry gave them unique, complementary expertise and insights. Reza’s hands-on experience in data centers highlighted the urgent need for better cooling solutions, while Matteo’s deep knowledge of nuclear power plant cooling provided a solid foundation for their innovative solutions.
Dr. Azizian has more than 10 years of experience in the electronic cooling industry. His pervious work includes designing a thermal solution for Microsoft HoloLens, and working at both NVIDIA and Cruise as a Senior Thermal Engineer. Dr. Azizian completed his postdoc at MIT and holds a Ph.D. in chemical enginnering from the University of Newcastle.
Dr. Bucci is a faculty member at MIT, as well as Director of The Red Lab, MIT's thermal-hydraulics engineering and design laboratory. He previously served as a Research Scientist at CEA Paris for nearly a decade. Dr. Bucci holds holds a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of Pisa.
